“2020 brought into sharp focus how well children and young adults adapt to their environments, however challenging they may be. So many that I know seemed to inherently understand that the sooner we all pull together to do the things that protect our homes, our communities and our planet, the sooner we will be able to overcome the hardships of a global pandemic and climate crisis. When I read this quote by Maria Montessori, it reminded me of this yet again; there is much to be learned by silencing our adult selves and allowing young voices to present ideas that lead to growth in our societies.” - Jennifer Farrell
