Child Tuition Scholarships

The BMEF offers Child Tuition Scholarships as a way to increase the access that Black families have to Montessori programs. The scholarships are meant to help alleviate families of the high financial burden of sending their child(ren) to Montessori schools. We offer one $1,000 scholarship per family, per school year.

In addition to the scholarships, we aim to provide our families with parent education resources, including articles, books, and webinar chats, for Montessori programs, so they can offer the best support possible to their children at home.

We have seen and strongly believe in the potential of Montessori to liberate the Black community by providing children and families with diverse learning opportunities, social and emotional learning, and supportive environments that foster the intelligence, creativity, and confidence of our Black children.

So far we have provided 61 families in the US with scholarships for their child to attend a Montessori program.

Eligibility Requirements
