Statistics make things happen. The more information we can gather about the effectiveness of Montessori pedagogy, and specifically how it affects the Black community, the easier it will be to get widespread funding support.

Therefore, we see the need and identify the importance of supporting educators who want to conduct compelling research in support of Montessori in the Black Community. We offer $1,000 for those who can present their research case to us effectively and can provide necessary background information on eligibility to conduct such research as well as why it is important.

• Able to provide well-vetted research question and plan

• Able to provide description of use of funds
